What are the Adrenalin Awards?
This question comes up from various skaters and non-skaters. We felt it was time to give you a clear understanding of the Adrenalin Awards & Style Skaters Weekend. For those of you who already well informed, indulge me for a moment, while we enlighten others.
The Adrenalin Awards & Style Skaters Weekend offers more than just a skate party. It is a weekend full of pure "Adrenaline" from the awards ceremony, which honors your peers in the traveling Style Skating Community for their talents, skills and accomplishments, to the 4 hours of non-stop Skating session.
The Awards ceremony is fashioned after other award ceremonies, such as the "BET Awards", "The Grammy", and/or "The Oscars" depending on which you hold in higher regard. It offers all of the grandeur you would expect from its red and black carpet reception, pictures (both still and motion) and interviews from many Style Skate Media outlets (i.e., Style Skaters TV Network, SkateGroove.com, JiveBiscuit.com (SkateTalk with/BodyGuard), GetYourSk8On, Sk8Photos.com, RollerSkatingToday.com, XtremeRollers Newsletter, and many more).
Why is this so important? Glad you asked.
A. It is important for Style Skaters to be recognized for our talent, skill, passion and accomplishments within the skating community. If we do not honor ourselves; why should others?
B. It's not just the awards; SSTVN sponsors an annual Vendors & Skaters Expo. It is dedicated to vendors as well as the business professionals in the Skating Community. Right here in the Style Skating community there is an abundance of professionals to meet our every need from doctors to lawyers, seam stress to hair stylists, barbers to accountants, and many more. Networking: It's all about networking.
(NOTE TO YOU: THE ENTREPRENEUR) If you have not contacted the Adrenalin Award Committee about participating in the Expo to promote, highlight or showcase your business, please send an email to info@AdrenalinAwards.com.
Now don't get me wrong, there will be skating involved. Of course we have some of hottest DJ’s on the planet to come thru and rock the wheels of steel.
Friday Night Roll Call: Each Year this night is themed based on committee and skater suggestions.
Saturday Night "Pure Adrenalin" (The Main Event): This is 4 hours of non-stop skating. The music does not stop. Can you feel your Adrenalin rushing now? I can!!!
Well, we had to stop to take a pause for the cause to explain WHAT IS ADRENALIN. Many of you knew, but now you all KNOW!
